Fiction: "Farmers in the Russian River claim that the Eel River salmonids are almost gone so it is a waste of their time to try and save them."

Farmers in the Russian River watershed have never voiced this opinion. The amount of time and effort they have spent working in good faith with the agencies involved with the licensing of the Potter Valley Project clearly proves this point. Because we are willing to fight for the water that we have beneficially used for years does not mean that we don't care about fish and wildlife!
